With the industry changing, this project is the only way we will survive into the future. We were the first gluten free store to open in California almost 6 years ago, without funding, and with only the support of our gluten free community. Over the last 6 years, at least a dozen gluten free stores have closed, many people have told us we’re not profitable and that we should close our doors too, but we refuse!!! We believe the Sacramento community needs our store and this resource as we educate Doctors, Medical Practitioners, Nutritionists, Family Members, Friends, Restaurants, Food Production Facilities and the population at large about Celiac Disease. For decades, Celiac Disease, Gluten Allergies and Gluten Intolerance has been mis-understood and under-diagnosed. Let’s change this and prevent others from experiencing health ailments, sickness & ultimately death. Or as we like to say… “Live Well, Eat Well”.
