August Brings Peace & Wellbeing

3 Aug

First things first, we would like to announce that the FDA has finally passed a gluten free regulation on labelling.

If you haven’t noticed yet, our Summer mantra has been…  ‘How can we take better care of ourselves and eachother?’

The creation of the  Gluten Free Specialty Grocery store has been an ardous process filled with hardwork, sleepless nights, and wishful thinking. We love what we do and we love being a part of the gluten free community, but making a store happen has been an extremely difficult task and we are all in need off a Summer ‘reboot’. During a store meeting in June, we decided that our goal for the summer was going to be to nurture ourselves and to take time off to nourish our souls. It’s great to nourish and feed our bodies well, but it is equally important to take care of ourselves on a holistic level to prevent illness and to encourage peace and wellbeing. Throughout August and September, we will be short staffed as each of us takes time to travel, visit with family and meditate on the joys in our lives.  We believe this will help us handle a busy Fall and Holiday Season with limited staffing. If you need extra help and support during this time, we encourage you to connect with us online through social media (wordpress, facebook, email, twitter, ect…). We hope that you are taking care of yourself this summer as well!<3

Also, don’t forget to try out samples when you stop by over the weekend. Stay tuned for more pictures and more regarding our Anniversary Party… in the next few weeks.
